“Art Club Portfolio Project” – "a project designed to employ a unique set of art materials that will allow students with a passion for art to expand their knowledge in different mediums of paint, thereby empowering them to build up their individual unique portfolios. '"Reading Mentors" - "a project designed to simultaneously promote literacy; students' successful transition from elementary to middle school; and positive peer relationships through a reading mentorship program. Sixth graders and their HS reading "buddies" will engage in a variety of activities related to the books they read to build relationships, navigate the challenges of transitioning to  a new school, and reignite an interest n reading books."

"Eventos en Espanol" - "a project designed to promote Spanish language learning through the reading of a weekly publication that empowers students to read about true events around the world while improving their ability to communicate in Spanish."

"iSpark: The Mobile STEM Lab"

"an initiative with the goal of bringing hands-on, interactive STEM activities directly to students at schools and libraries across the district. Using a collection of IPads, the lab will provide students with the power to learn coding, robotics, 3D design, and augmented reality, and enable teachers to easily integrate technology-embedded lessons, which are standards-based in science and computer science."

"Digital Game-Based Learning and Noise Canceling Headphones for Reading Intervention"- "a project with a the goal of utilizing android tablets and noise canceling headphones to support student-centered reading intervention; active learning; student discovery of their learning abilities; and increased attention and concentration."

Wanda House- 
Dr. Rose H. Wilder Elementary- 3rd Gd. ELA

"Closing the Reading Gap of Struggling Readers" - "a project designed to enhance reading intervention for tier 2-3 students, particularly ESL students through the use of  a supplemental "Smart Reading Program. Powered by AI technology, the program provides the effectiveness of 1-1 tutoring and provides critical data collection for teachers and  parents to track student progress."

  • JENNIFER PARKER: Walker Gamble Elementary; K-5 Physical Education:; "ARE WE THERE YET?;" - "A class set of Brunson Compasses will be used in a creative, hands-on, and very practical unit on orienting, which is being able to navigate using a compass."

  • JESSIE WELCH: Walker Gamble Elementary School; 4th-5th Grade Art Class; "CUPS OF JOY” -  "A project aimed at expanding the ceramics program to reach more students by adding an additional pottery wheel and related supplies."

  • KIM FERRARI: Manning High School; 9th Grade English; "ACTIVE STUDENTS FOR ACTIVE ENGAGEMENT"- "This project aims to enhance the learning environment by introducing standing desks and active seating options….incorporating flexible seating and movement-friendly furniture, thereby creating a more dynamic and health conscious classroom that promotes better focus, engagement and collaboration among students."

  • LORI JOHNSONManning High School; 9-12 Physical Education; "ACTIVE STUDENTS FOR A HEALTHIER FUTURE"-  "This project aims to provide new PE gear including pedometers... This new equipment will help teachers offer a wider range of activities and get students more exited and active in PE. Students are more motivated to participate in physical exercise when choices are provided that match their interest and ability levels."

  • RUTH GARTHScott's Branch High School; 11th Grade Social Studies; "BRINGING HISTORY TO LIFE"- "A series of three educational field trips that extend learning beyond the classroom by exposing students to varied and numerous historical exhibitions that directly relate to course content included on the end-of-course exams."

  • ​​​SABRINA MCLEODManning Junior High School; 7th grade Math; "BUILDING A THINKING CLASSROOM"- "The implementation of 14 practices that help move students from rote memorization to truly thinking through problems and understanding what they are doing and why, with the help of vertical nonpermanent surfaces that encourage student collaboration."​​

  • TERRI HARRELSONManning Elementary School; 5th Grade Math, Sci, ELA, SS; "21ST CENTURY LEARNING & GROWING" -"STEAM-based lessons and activities using Ozobot Evo– technology that prepares teachers to bring coding and creativity into the classroom. This initiative aims to promote the 4 C’s: Collaboration, Critical Thinking, Communication, and Creativity."​
